- Change management: Most people do not care for change. It is a survival mechanism that our ancestors passed along to us and is very useful in many situations. However, in a fast-growing company, change is the norm rather than the exception. Don’t expect your team to naturally embrace constant change- it goes against much of human nature. You can learn ways of minimizing the negative effect of change and training your team to embrace new opportunities in the workplace.
- Vision and employee buy-in: Do you spend much of your time fighting fires instead of growing your company? Is your company and your staff directionless? If you do not have a company vision statement, you should create one, and if you already have a company vision, this may need to be updated.
